Summary

In total, the efforts of the Los Robles Green Team, Emily Henry, custodians and staff were put into effect for about 3 weeks before students had to abruptly leave school due to Covid - 19. Unfortunately, there was not an opportunity to conduct a post-waste assessment so this report will do the best to make a best estimate of diversion rates from estimates obtained from Ms. Henry.

Worm bin - 3/4 of a 5 gallon daily bucket for 15 days

Liquid bucket - 1/2 of a 5 gallon bucket daily for 15 days

Recycled milk cartons - One full 23 gallon container daily for 15 days.

Additionally, the school fills one 64 gallon paper recycling container bi-weekly and has a food share table year-round

Metrics

Paper and Milk Carton recycling

45 Pounds of Recyclables Diverted from School Waste Stream between February 24th 2020 and March 13th 2020
