Summary

In a unit combining the Next Generation Science Standards and California’s English Language Arts Common Core State Standards, pairs of students used iPads to gather more information about the endangered species found near Lomita Park School. They used this information to create electronic slide shows, which they presented to the other classes in our school, encouraging students to be more careful with their trash in order to protect the habitat of these vulnerable neighbors.
