Gerald Schwartz from Recycle Works presented us with the Green Star Schools certificate.

Summary

A representative from the County of San Mateo RecycleWorks Program came to our class. Students shared with the RecycleWorks representative what they did to green their classroom. They showed him one of the slideshows, the paper tray for reusing paper and the classroom recycling bin that is now labelled. They also explained to the RecycleWorks representative how they are now recycling more at school and at home and there is less trash on the playground.

The RecycleWorks representative presented to the class their Green Star Schools Classroom Certificate in the Waste Reduction Pathway due to all their hard work.
